28 weeks (a little over 6 months) ;-)

I know i know... Poor baby Sage #2 hardly has any posts/pics right?! My bad... It's def a little tougher this time around with a 1 year old (almost 16 months!) running (and i do mean running) around allnof the time! And now you are probably thinking, "but THIS time around, she isn't even working!"... Um, let me tell ya, this "job" is much harder and more exhausting than teaching ever was! ;-)

Anyhow... I'll try to get back into posting on a more regular basis... For baby Sage (name to be determined!) #2's sake! I am feeling good- am still playing tennis (season just ended this week, and I was still able to play (and pretty well if i do say so myself!) at my regular level and line (for those of you that speak ALTA)!) the last couple of weeks though have been a bit tough I mist admit. Hips hurt after my matches and Im guessing my body would like me to take it a little easier... Im still going to go to practice on Wednesday mornings, but no more official matches for a while. Back to the gym/yoga/pregnancy pilates i guess!

Cravings... Chocolate (although that's not really just a pregnancy thing for me!) and peanut butter I guess... From breakfast english muffins with Pb&J, to apples, to ice cream... Peanut butter seems to just make all of those things better! ;-)

I think my biggest "craving" lately has been crafting! I have been painting (re finished a 100 year old piano, my dining room set, and now the buffet!) So fun! I've also done a little writing/crafting for a local magazine here (Southern Journal Magazine) and am in charge of our MOPS crafts each month!

Harrison is doing great- just got his 16th tooth! He has grown an inch since his first bday, and maybe a pound or so, but we will get all of the official stats at next months checkup. He is hillarious and keeps me busy every day! He loves animals, balls, running and being outside, and a couple of characters on the Baby Chanel. We've been to a couple of Braves games, and a couple of petting zoos lately (local fair and then up to north ga for apple picking last weekend) and he seems to love them all- sheep, bunnies, chicks, goats, ponies, pigs... All very exciting and deserving of Harrison kisses.

We are off to Cali next week and we can't wait to see friends/family!!

21 weeks!

Whoa we have been BUSY this past month! Between doctors appointments, new job opportunities, my melanoma removal surgery, home projects, and just our day to day craziness, there has not been much time to blog! All is good though- melanoma is officially OUT thankfully (check your moles everyone! What a wierd thing to go through! So thankful to my mom (and Scott!) for noticing that one of my moles on my back had changed to a very dark black color and insisted that i go get it checked! We caught it very early and were able to get it all thank goodness. A little scary to be 20 weeks pregnant and undergoing surgery up at Emory, but my doctors were great and I am just so glad it is over and baby Sage 2 is ok.)

Speaking of baby #2, HE is doing great and we are already 21 weeks! He is the size of a pomegranate and looks very healthy in there! He is kicking away and seems to enjoy my chocolate ice cream, coco puffs, and baking chocolate chip cookies just as much as Harrison did when he was in utero! ;-) I have definitely "popped" out sooner with this pregnancy, but that's okay- I am feeling great and enjoying it just the same. Here are a couple of pics and I will try to post much more often!

A whole month has passed?!

Oops! We have been busy I guess! All is great- Summer has been a blast... Lots of swimming, playing outside, sleeping in (he is still asleep as I type this at 10:30am!), festivals (GA Sunflower festival), home/craft projects, even a quick vacation with family up to North Carolina! H got to ride on a pony and a train for the first time this month! Loved them both! Here's some pics from our adventures...

Fever and rash and new teeth!

Poor guy- in the last week he has gotten 6, yes 6 new teeth, and today he woke up with a rash/fever! The dr had warned us that this may happen (5% chance!) about a week and a half after his vaccine (MMR) at his 1 year check up. You can tell from the pics below that he is really bothered by all of this... ;-) Love my happy little guy!!

9 teeth!

H has had the same 6 teeth for months now (4 front top, 2 front bottom), but just in the last week, he has gotten 3 more! All molars! 2 top "one year old molars" and the bottom right molar. Here's the best pic I could get of his sweet smile...
Ps: I hope this explains his 4am wake ups the last couple of nights! Zzzzzzzz

Fun with Daddy

Just had to share these sweet pics from tonight... H enjoyed a spin in his new car and then a sweet bedtime story before bed. 💙💙💙

He's ONE!

Wow! What an amazing year! Can't believe H is 1 already. I am so thankful for the fun, happy, silly, determined, smart, currious, playful, sweet, blue eyed boy I get to be mom to. To think back to a year ago, meeting him for the first time, not having a clue as how to even change his diaper, but knowing he was the most perfect thing I had ever seen, and that I was somehow going to figure it out, and be the best mom I could for him... Seems like a long time ago, but also just yesterday at the same time.

He had a great birthday- party Saturday, and today he got to hang with his "Aunt" Lisa, go to the clubhouse for lunch, play with all of his toys (LOVES his new sandbox, water table, lawn mower, slide, music, books, bubbles, car, helicopter, train, puzzles, and of course new and old balls!), take a 2.5 hour nap, eat cake, get a bath from Mimi, open presents, and hear the Happy Birthday song quite a few times. He is an absolute doll, and to say this past year was my favorite year ever would be an understatement. Happy Birthday... Dear Harrison... Happy Birthday to You... "And many more....!" (End of Happy Birthday song)... Definitely looking forward to many more ;-)
